Start with $100. Beat the AI at the auction table, fill your five positions, then discover whether your squad can win a rapid 20-game season.

How Forge Five works
  1. Both sides start with a fictional $100 budget.
  2. The auction uses an 80-player recognisable-star pool drawn from current 2026 squads.
  3. During the four core rounds, a side can only bid when its matching DEF, MID, FWD or RUC position is open.
  4. The AI opens every auction it can contest, varies its bid pressure and automatically completes uncontested nominations.
  5. After both core fours are complete, a clearly labelled UTIL round fills the fifth slot.
  6. Each side can bid no more than three times on one player. If both use all three bids, that player is skipped.
  7. The game reserves at least $1 for each empty slot. When both squads are full, a precomputed 20-game season decides the winner.

Current 2026 names, clubs and broad roles are factual references. Returning-player form uses the latest completed season available through 2025. SPD, ATK, DEF, POW, MAR, auction values, teams and every result are fictional Footy Forge systems.
